Welcome to Staple Farm

Staple Farm is based at the foot of the Blackdown Hills in the village of Staple Fitzpaine. A 700 acre arable farm, its main crops are wheat and field beans, with small areas for christmas trees and miscanthus and importantly is involved in various conservation schemes to protect the environment and wildlife. Staple Farm also acts as host to large scale school visits, for local primary schools, as well its proprietor, Mark Pope, organising large scale school visits for other local farms. Amongst all this a self storage business nestles amongs the grain store and workshop buildings, providing useful facilities for local trades and people on the move or decluttering.
Farm Crops and Conservation
- Wheat and field beans are the main crops
- Conservation and wildlife areas keep nature in balance
- Miscanthus is grown and sold for horse bedding
- Christmas Trees, freshly cut are available in December
- Many school children have visited Staple Farm as part of the 'Taste the Harvest' events to see cereal crops being grown and stored, and experiencing harvest from seed to loaf.

- Countryside storage space is provided at Blackdown Storage - safe, dry and clean self-storage in containers and units, with direct drive to your unit. Countryside walking facilities are included free with your unit!
